Easter Sewing: Patch Press Bunny Bun Warmer Review (and more!)

Happy Easter! This week's post will outline some quick Easter projects I made for this year's holiday. First and foremost, I used Patch Press Patterns' Bunny Bun Warmer and Chick pattern. I also created some drawstring chick bags using a pattern from Make It & Love It. In this post, I'll break down the details for each one.

Marbled Matching Set: Jalie Clara Legging Pattern Review

Hello everyone! In this week's post I finally take the plunge into sewing activewear! I created a matching set using Jalie's Clara legging pattern and tracing an Old Navy Sports bra. In this post, I'll break down the sewing and construction process, and I'll review the pattern to test how it holds up during exercise.

McCall's 7243 Plaid Wrap Skirt Review (and Simplicity 7326 Hat Review)

Hello everyone! This week's post will be about a plaid wrap skirt I made using McCall's 7243, a wrap skirt pattern from the 1990's. Even though winter has ended and spring is upon us, I couldn't help myself from making another cold-ish weather outfit. In this post, I'll explain my fabric choices, explain my inspiration, and review the pattern.

Throwback Post: Sailor Lolita Dress (Otome No Sewing Pattern Review)

Hello everyone! This week's post will be about a sailor dress I made a few years ago using a pattern from the Otome No Sewing Book 3. This dress was a huge turning point for me in my sewing journey, because it was one of the first projects I felt was actually "good." The project is far from perfect, but I've gotten a lot of wear out of it over the years. In this post, I'll explain what the pattern book is and how I used it.
